Elements

Offensive necklaces and defensive belts interact with a creature’s element to raise or reduce damage.

Practical guide

3 steps for this topic
  1. Inspect or identify the target’s defense element when possible and separate the offensive necklace from the defensive belt worn by the group.
  2. Choose the necklace that has the favorable relationship and the belt that protects against the creature’s offense; do not assume one item handles both.
  3. Test a neutral and proposed elemental setup against the same target before changing an entire group’s equipment.
